Fireweed Food Hub is proud to partner with Lake to Plate, an Inuit-owned social enterprise fishery in Naujaat, NU, bringing their exquisite, wild-caught Arctic char to Manitoban foodservice clientele.
We are working to develop a market in Manitoba for this fish that will provide a better living wage to the fishermen than is provided by the commodity prices given to them at their local fish plant. We proud to support Indigenous livelihood fisheries and the right to harvest. 100% of profits from sales go to back to the fishermen and their families.
