Food Hub Assistant
The Food Hub Assistant will work closely with the Fireweed team to support food hub projects during the busy growing season. The Food Hub connects small-scale, sustainable producers to wholesale and household customers. Customers place orders through our online storefront, producers bring orders to our warehouse, and orders are re-packed before we deliver them to customers. This is a hands-on position that involves focused coordination and communication.
This position will primarily support the activities of the Supplier Coordinator, focused on operations. The ideal candidate is interested in regional food systems, regenerative/ small-scale agriculture, working directly with small-scale producers, and sales/ customer service.

Sales & Delivery Assistant
Reporting to the Sales Coordinator, the Sales and Delivery Assistant’s primary responsibilities are to support the Food Hub Team during the busy growing season. The Food Hub connects small-scale, sustainable producers to wholesale and household customers. Customers place orders through our online storefront, producers bring orders to our warehouse, and orders are re-packed before we deliver them to customers. This is a hands-on position focused on coordination and communication. This position will primarily support the activities of the Sales Coordinator, focused on operations. The ideal candidate is interested in regional food systems, regenerative/ small-scale agriculture, working with fine dining restaurants, and sales/ customer service.

Market Assistant
The Market Assistant will support the Market Coordinator in ensuring the smooth functioning of the South Osborne Farmers’ Market (SOFM). This includes volunteer recruitment and coordination,
marketing and social media, organizing community engagement activities, and assisting with market day operations. This is a seasonal position with an 8-hour commitment every Wednesday from 1-9pm at 725 Kylemore Avenue.
